ENTHUSIAST CAR SWAP

How it works

One platform. One conversation. One swap.

Selling your car and then buying another means two sets of listings, two sets of strangers and two transactions. Swapping directly with another enthusiast collapses that into one.

  1. 1

List your car for review — free

Add details, categorized photos, any video links, private title photos, your car’s value and how far you’ll go. Every car is personally reviewed before anyone else can see it.

  2. 2

    Build your wish list

Tell us the cars you’d swap for, the years, the transmission, and privately how much cash you’d add or accept.

  3. 3

    Get curated matches

We recommend swaps where both owners want each other’s cars and the value gap and distance fit both owners’ limits. No endless scrolling.

  4. 4

    Unlock when you match

A one-time membership (3, 6 or 12 months) unlocks full match details, “I’m interested” and private messaging. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.

  5. 5

    Connect when it’s mutual

Say you’re interested and the other owner sees it at the top of their matches. When it’s mutual, you can message securely and, if you both choose, share phone numbers.

  6. 6

Do your due diligence and swap

Inspect, verify and agree. You handle any cash on top and the title transfer directly — then mark the swap complete and rate each other.

Due diligence: what we do and don’t do

Enthusiast Car Swap curates listings and connects members. We do not authenticate titles, guarantee vehicles, conduct inspections, handle funds, hold anything in escrow, perform title transfers or act as a party to any swap.

We do

  • Personally review every listing before other members see it
  • Preliminarily review private title photos for listing certification
  • Recommend mutually compatible swaps and keep your cash limits private
  • Provide private messaging, blocking, reporting and ratings

You do

  • Inspect the car (we recommend an independent pre-purchase inspection)
  • Verify ownership, title status, liens and the VIN yourself
  • Arrange any cash on top directly and safely
  • Complete the title transfer and registration in your state

“Title photo reviewed”

Title photo reviewed. The owner supplied title photographs during listing certification. Enthusiast Car Swap does not authenticate, guarantee, escrow or transfer titles. Members must independently verify ownership, title status, liens, vehicle condition and all transaction details before completing a swap.

Car values

Each car’s value is set by its owner. It is used to suggest swaps and cash on top — it is not an appraisal, offer or guarantee, and Enthusiast Car Swap does not verify it. Agree on final terms between yourselves after your own inspection.
